Oppressor Armor

The Oppressor Armor is worn by those who came from the old military base found within New Austin. Development of the armor started in the Pre war but only finished Post war.

Mod Details

We are thrilled to announce the long-awaited launch of the standalone New Austin mod. Introducing the Oppressor Armor, the latest addition to enhance your gaming experience. The armor can be crafted at the chem station and personalized through the armor workbench with a wide range of paint jobs. Choose from 12 regular paint jobs, including camo patterns and solid colors, as well as four faction-specific paint jobs that fit into the New Austin lore.

Besides paint customizations, the Oppressor Armor offers various torso variants with unique buffs. The bagged variant increases carrying capacity, the medic variant mimics the Auto Medic power armor upgrade, the radio variant provides a tactical advantage by highlighting enemy positions on your compass, and the Raider armor adds a purely aesthetic touch.

Where to Get

Obtainable from Weapon and Armor Shops.

Design

Originally the oppressor armor was conceived to be the armor of a prepper faction that was in the Mueller area of New Austin. As it was worked on though, it became more of an all-purpose universal armor. Something made by a military entity and New Austin's equivalent to Combat Armor. Large flat plates make it very easy to paint and design interesting patterns for the armor. This became the new intention of the armor.

As of right now, this is the oldest armor model. Because of this we are planning on a full rework of both the models and mechanics of this armor. They fall a bit short of our current expectations for armors now and we will be addressing that in the future.
